In this video and article you will learn all about the 4 different types of CBD Oil and what the differences are. You will know which is the best CBD Oil for you to buy.
Types of CBD Oil Extraction
When we extract from the Industrial Hemp plant there are over 100 healthy cannabinoids. The two main cannabinoids are THC and CBD. CBD is non psychoactive whereas THC when taken in large amounts causes a psychoactive effect (stoned).
Legally in the UK we are allowed to have 0.2% THC in a product because it is such a minuscule amount that it won’t cause any psychoactive effects. However that tiny bit of THC when taken with the rest of the cannabinoids helps to create an entourage effect.
An entourage effect is where all the cannabinoids work in synergy together therefore having a greater impact on our Endocannabinoid System.
Full Spectrum CBD Oil
A complete full spectrum means it has all the cannabinoids, terpenes and essential oils from the hemp plant. It includes the legal limit of 0.2% THC. Some people may call a full spectrum product a whole plant solution as you are consuming all the goodies from the whole plant.
A full spectrum is my personal favourite. Please be aware though that if you were drug tested it could show as a false positive like poppy seeds do. If this was to happen and you have purchased your Oil from a reputable supplier you will be able to show lab tests to prove you are just taking a food supplement.
Here are some examples of full spectrum products
Excite for Life Full Spectrum CBD Oil 500mg and 1000mg
CBDLife Full Spectrum CBD Oil 500mg, 1000mg and 2000mg
Excite For Life Full Spectrum Capsules 300mg and 750mg
Sunstate Hemp Full Spectrum Gummies
Broad Spectrum
A Broad Spectrum CBD Oil will have all the cannabinoids, terpenes and essential oils except THC. The THC has been completely removed which is why it is only called a broad spectrum.
Here are some broad spectrum products
Excite For Life Broad Spectrum CBD Oil
Available in 600mg, 1200mg and 2400mg strengths
Flavours available – Natural, Peppermint, Berry and Citrus
Broad Spectrum CBD Oil from Purity THC FREE
Canabidol Broad Spectrum CBD Oils THC FREE
Cannabigold Broad Spectrum with Terpenes
Narrow Spectrum
A Narrow spectrum product will have CBD and a small proportion of the other cannabinoids except THC. It may not have terpenes or essential oils. It’s not the best type of CBD Oil and feedback from customers who have purchased narrow spectrum from places like Holland and Barret don’t have good feedback which is why I don’t sell it or recommend it.
Isolate
CBD Isolate just means that it is CBD isolated on its own. There are no other cannabinoids or terpenes. It looks like a white powder.
Here in the UK its not legal to sell a CBD oil that is made with isolate.
In my experience Isolate is great for Dabbing, Vaping or using in baking. Watch this video to learn more about How to use CBD Crystals.
